Description:
- Function as a resource to assist in resolution of support tickets related to custom-built SharePoint applications.
- Provide technical mentorship to the existing development team members.
Skills Requirements:- Lead the technical design, development implementation and maintenance of our client’s existing SharePoint solutions and applications.
- Provide recommendation and guidance on best SharePoint-based solutions to fulfill business needs and new requirements.
- Provide recommendations to improve existing applications and processes to ensure optimal performance.
- Adhere to best practices for development and deployment processes.
A working (analyst’s) knowledge of Microsoft’s current Office SharePoint Server 2007 platform and
supporting technologies including:
o Internet Information Server 6.0
o CSS
o HTML, xHTML
o Active Directory
o Microsoft Office desktop application integration with SharePoint
o BI Functionality
o Other Business Support Applications integration with SharePoint
o Project Server integration
o Creating and working with custom site definitions
o Creating and working with event handlers, custom web parts and featureso Table Less Designing
o ASP.NET
o SQL Server 2000/2005
o Thorough understanding of the inter-relationships among content types, shared columns, search, navigation, information management policies, governance, and other data-related facets of an enterprise SharePoint implementation
o Strong knowledge of system development methodologies, application development tools, system architecture and design principles
o Windows Workflow Foundation
o Server farm design concepts
o Windows networking principles
o Knowledge of SharePoint 2010 (It’s not mandatory but will be a plus)
Experience: At least 2 year experience
Qualification: Bachelors/equivalent
Certifications: 1 or more MCTS certifications preferred
