Scholarships - Government of Thailand’s scholarships for Postgraduate (Masters only) Program 2010

The Thai International Postgraduate Programme (TIPP) 2010 was setup by the Royal Thai Government’s Thailand International Development Cooperation Agency (TICA), Ministry of Foreign Affairs. TICA under TIPP program has offered Master’s scholarships for Pakistani students in different courses. The applications from Pakistan will be routed through HEC.

Eligibility Criteria For Scholarship:
The eligible candidates must
  • Be nominated by their respective government (HEC).
  • Be under forty (40) years of age.
  • Be academically qualified to attend the study (Masters) Programme
  • Have a good command of written and spoken English.
  • Be in good health, both physically and mentally. Each applicant should have a health certificate provided by an authorized physician (Medical form is available). Pregnancy is regarded as a disqualifying condition.
  • Have a valid English Language certificate (e.g. IELTS or TOEFL)
  • Submit additional requirements of each course, mentioned in the course details.
  • Please be advised that if the awardees want to focus their research on the specific issue of their countries, they are encouraged to bring with them data from their home countries, since preparation of a thesis research begins early in the course. Thesis proposal will be developed throughout the first semester (for a one-year degree programme) or the first year (for a two-year degree programme).

How to Apply for Scholarship:
-Read carefully the course details, details mentioned in other related information page on website and documents required for a particular program in which you want to apply.
-Fill the HEC application form.
-Attach the print of page of course details, in which documents requirements is mentioned, with the HEC application form.
-Fill TICA’s Scholarship Application form by using computer. No hand written form will be accepted.
-Attach all the documents required, as mentioned in each course details, with the TICA application form. The certificates / degrees / transcripts must be in English language.
-Fill Medical Form, get it signed / verified by an authorized physician and attach it with TICA scholarship application form.

Note:

By hand submission of application package will not be entertained. You are required to send the application package as per requirements mentioned above before 10-12-2009, to the address mentioned below.

Where to send Application Package?
1. Incomplete applications / hand written applications / applications with missing documents (not in accordance with requirements mentioned in each course detail) will not be processed.
2. Send completely filled application forms (TICA scholarship form and HEC application form), with no documents missing, before 10-12-2009 to the address given below:

NOTE: Applications received to the Higher Education Commission (HEC) will be forwarded to the Royal Thai Embassy, Islamabad. HEC is only facilitating the applicants in sending their application package to Royal Thai Embassy, Islamabad.
