Head of Marketing – Air time

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION / EXPERIENCE:

· MBA with at least 10 years of experience in the media Industry.

· Experience in content development / cable TV industry in Pakistan with proven understanding of Pakistan’s electronic media industry, its players and the emerging trends. -

· The incumbent having prior experience of initiating & driving partnerships with domestic and international TV channels / content partners will definitely be considered favorably.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Responsible to spearhead the digital TV operations.

· Manage the complete product management functions for the service including marketing & sales, tariffs, churn management, service provisioning & technical support.

· Determine the demand for products and services offered by a firm and its competitors and identify potential customers.

· Carries out major, strategic media proposals in concert with Account Management, Account planning

· Provides insight and seeks opportunity beyond traditional mediums bring additional value to clients.

· Responsible for managing workflow, ensuring ongoing training, developing skill sets for senior media team members.

· Sets standards for team in process, quality of work and creativity.

· A strategic business-building oriented thinker

· Develop pricing strategies with the goal of maximizing the firm's profits or share of the market while ensuring the firm's customers are satisfied.

· Oversee product development or monitor trends that indicate the need for new products and services.

· Highest point of authority on all issues relating to media product.

· A demonstrated high level of analytical rigor to isolate core insights that leads to strategic actions.

· A creative problem-solver.

· Must have a very hands-on, roll-up-the-sleeves approach to taking the lead on projects
