IP Core Manager | Ericsson

Overall Purpose:
Reporting to the head of IP, BB and Core Group. You will be accountable to manage the IP, BB and Core Delivery Office unit which will contain a number of Project and Delivery Managers. IP, BB and Core Delivery Office will be responsible for project deliveries towards all customers served by CU Pakistan and will have accountability to steer projects within your area and be a member of the project steering groups for our IP, BB and Core related projects.

Key Responsibilities:
Specifically you will manage the following
Career development and management of the CPM's within the team.
Handling of assignments from our sales team for Project Planning and Execution.
Handling of sub-assignments or work packages from the Project Office for Planning and Execution.
Assigning CPM's to these assignments.
Planning and recruiting Project Managers in order to deliver on our commitments to our customers.
Ensure alignment with the Project Office and Resource Management teams for recruiting levels.
In cooperation with the Governance Team in the Project Office, ensure that project related processes are followed and adhered to.
Be a point of escalation for Project Managers when project deliveries have major issues and risks, supporting the Project Managers to get these issues resolved and the deliveries back on track.
Ensure that a project steering function is run for projects with the IP, BB and Core area and that
Project managers are reporting the latest status and ensure relevant actions are put in place to prevent or fix issues and risks from occurring.
Ensure that you have a motivated team and follow up on DIALOG activities.
Securing net sales and profitability through deliveries and achieve/exceed targets
Drive Customer Satisfaction improvements in cooperation with operational excellence unit.
Drive innovation and knowledge sharing as a culture in the team and in cooperation with operational excellence unit.
Drive a culture of constant improvement based on route cause analysis of issues and processes and ways of working enhancements.
Secure resources to work with engagement practices, participate in pre-sales and provide accurate costs for services to be delivered
Develop and maintain good working relationships with key stakeholders in the rest of the SD&O

Qualifications / Competence:

University degree or equivalent experience from previous assignments.
Minimum 2-3 years in an operational management position with proven good results.
Proven ability to manage a delivery organization.
Energetic, positive and outgoing with a clear passion to win.
Business minded, customer focused and a team player.
Knowledge of Project Management and running projects according to PMI standards.
Understanding of Project Financial Management in line with global accounting directives.
Excellent communication skills.
Good at building new relations.
Have a consultative approach and an open mind with good analytical skills.
Take responsibility, and enjoy working in a fast moving environment.
Must also have a high degree of perseverance in order to develop a complex multicultural environment.
