Estimation Engineer Mechanical

Estimation Engineer - Mechanical is required in Etimaad

Responsibilities:
· Provide a summary of the project as Synopsis highlighting the salient features of ITB.

· Visit sites and attend pre-bid meetings arranged by Customer if required and present its report to management.

· Material Take-off from Drawings and prepare bill of Material (BOM) for getting material prices.

· Prepare sub-contract packages to obtain the quotations from service providers.

· To administer subcontractor(s) valuation reports.

· Prepare the technical proposal as per the ITB requirements.

· Run technical proposal to check accuracy of all results and also prepare a comprehensive and accurate commercial proposal.

· Provide the selling breakdown analysis for the overheads, profits, and bank charges.

· Develop an analysis of the directly executed works to include analysis of the direct cost mainly material costs, labor costs, and accessories costs, all in relation to the contract BOQ.

· Reply post bid clarifications, if any.

· Continuously contribute, in an effective manner, in the development and improvement of Company’s bidding system.

· Keep an eye on the authenticity and updation of all costing data / factors provided by various other departments of the Company.

· Ensures accuracy of data being fed into the system in order to generate accurate reports.

· Ensures timely updation of norms.

· Ensures the project plan and all respective resource requirements are reliably entered into the bid package.

· Ensures reports are being generated from the system for requisite decision making purposes.

· Ensures the integration of plan with estimation software.
