Senior PHP Developer, Zirgon

Zirgon is looking for an extremely intelligent, talented and enthusiastic Senior Web Developer.

Responsibilities:
o Leading a team of Web developers to design, develop, and debug Web applications
o Keeping up with new Internet standards and Web technologies (Web 2.0, AJAX, Ruby on Rails, etc
o Using creativity to innovate new products (widgets, wizards, tools, controls) to enhance Web user experience
o Basic knowledge about MVC frameworks is a plus
o Knowledge of search engine optimization (SEO) and marketing (SEM)
o Technical Requirements
o Must be good at PHP 5.0
o Expertise in working with PHP and MySQL
o Proficiency with front-end scripting including: HTML, DHTML, JavaScript, CSS, AJAX
o Familiarity with the CodeIgniter MVC for PHP a plus
o Hands-on experience with web application architecture and relational database design
o Familiarity with the LAMP environment (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP)
o Exposure to other server-side scripting languages such as JSP, ASP, CFM
o Exposure to object-oriented languages such as Java and Microsoft .NET
o Knowledge of best practices for cross-platform, cross-browser compatibility
o Professional experience building database-driven web applications and websites

General Requirements
o 1+ years managerial experience
o 3+ years professional web development experience
o Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
o Strong presentation, communication, and collaboration skills, enabling knowledge share within team and across teams
o Positive attitude and professionalism in the workplace
o CS or technical degree preferred
