Masters Degree or 16 years of education (with at least 60% of marks where percentage system applies OR 3.0 CGPA where GPA system is applicable) in Business/ Public Administration, Business Economics, Economics, Finance, Commerce, Accounting, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems/ Technology and Human Resources from the universities/ institutes recognized by HEC or any reputable foreign universities. MBA (Executive) are not eligible for the Program. Only those candidates whose final examination results are declared as of the closing date of submission of applications are eligible to apply.

Eligible/ short-listed candidates will be required to take a comprehensive written test in i) English Composition ii) Quantitative Skills/ Intelligence/ Computer Knowledge iii) Current Affairs/ Pakistan Economy. Candidates who qualify the written test will be invited to appear for Group Discussion/ Interview before a Selection Board.

Place of Posting
The selected officers will be required to work in any department/ division at Head Office of SBP-BSC or at any of its 16 Field Offices across the country.
Pre-Induction Training
The selected candidates will be imparted 12 weeks residential ‘Theoretical Training’ at National Institute of Banking & Finance (NIBAF), Islamabad. The trainees who successfully complete the theoretical training will be offered appointment as Officer Grade-2 at SBP-BSC.

Compensation Package
During theoretical training, the trainees will receive a monthly stipend of Rs.12,000/- in addition to free boarding and lodging facility at NIBAF. Employees of SBP-BSC, if selected, will draw their usual emoluments in addition to Daily Allowance @ Rs.250/- per day.

Upon successful completion of theoretical training, the trainees will be offered appointment at a monthly monetized salary of Rs.30,000/- in the salary scale of OG-2 at SBP-BSC. They will further be entitled to other fringe benefits like medical facility for self, spouse and children, staff loans, telephone calls, Gratuity & Contributory Provident Fund.
