Allocation Of Services/Groups On The Basis Of Competitive Examination-2009

The Competitive Examination-2009, was held from 25.4.2009 to 12.5.2009. The result of written portion of the examination was announced on 24.10.2009. The Viva Voce of the written qualified candidates was held from4.1.2010 to 11.6.2010. Result of finally qualified candidates was declared on 18.6.2010.

2. The number of vacancies including carried over vacancies to be filled on the basis of the subject examination were announced by FPSC through après Note dated 22.7.2010. The allocation of services/groups, however, could note made immediately after communication of vacancies by the Government because Review Petition filed by FPSC in the Supreme Court of Pakistan against the judgment of the Lahore High Court, Rawalpindi Bench upheld by Supreme Court of Pakistan on revision of method of allocation of female quota of Competitive Examination-2008, was pending before the Honorable Court. However, recently the Apex Court has directed to implement the judgment of the Lahore High Court in letter and spirit.

3. The Commission has finalized allocation of CompetitiveExamination-2008 in accordance with the direction of the Supreme Court.

4. On the same analogy, the Commission has finalized allocation of Services/Groups of Competitive Examination-2009 and communicated to the Establishment Division for final approval and announcement in due course.
